| Bio: | :::waves::: Hello, I'm Aj I'm a college student here a K-State, hopefully graduating spring 2008 with a duel degree in Womens Studies and Sociology and a minor in Non-Profit Leadership (::whew:: that is one looooong title). I'm originally from Boulder, Colorado, and I admit that my heart still is in the mountains - Kansas is just far too flat! I recently got engaged to a wonderful guy - his name is Timothy. He too shall be graduating from K-State (although, probably closer to 2009ish), and we plan to get married sometime there after. So, the wedding is a ways off (as in 4-5 years - yikes!), but being a typical female in this culture, I can't just not do a "little research here and there." I've got to keep the 'Little Girl' (as Timothy likes to call that part of me) at bay somehow, yaknow? So, here I am creating this LJ to help catch all of my thoughts and to try to connect with others more or less in my position. Some of my posts will be private (thought probably not be friends-only because I feel hypocritical about useing that feature) but a lot of my posts will me just posting stuff I like/dislike wedding-wise so I can come back later and get more insight on my preferences. I do have another LJ, but I don't really ever post there anymore because too much Drama(TM) spawned from that. so uh..... I guess basic Wedding-Info ya'll would like: Your Name: Andrea Lynne Jones *Your SO’s Name: Timothy Jacob Theisen *Your Age: 19 *Your SO’s Age: 22 *Wedding Date: Saturday, October 29th, 2005 *How did you meet: We met through our friend Zachery. Tim and Zac were on the same floor in the all-guys dorm last year and became friends through gaming. I went to visit Zac over my spring break and was hanging out reading in his room alone when Tim came in looking for Zachery. When he saw me sitting there his chin nearly hit the floor and he stood there gawking at me for a while thinking I didn't nottice him. It was cute :) Anyway, fall semester 2004 I started eating lunch with Zac and Tim, and in December we started dating. The ball just started quickly rolling from there. *Best thing about being married/engaged: Being engaged gives you a boost in confidence. As much as I hate to admit it, it almost gives you validation as a human being in the society. It's wonderful to have someone I can be so open and honest with. He treats me wonderfully, I can't imagine anything better.   | |
